Who is MissChelle Renee?
Maryland-based singer/songwriter MissChelle Renée knew her fate was music at a young age. While visiting her grandmother’s church she discovered out of all the instruments she saw and heard, the voice was the only one that came free, and in the body; she was amazed. Those early passions for singing and poetry grew into an eclectic musical background. With her foundation rooted in "the church" mixed with Jazz, R&B, and Neo-Soul, she refined her technique with classical training from private instructors, and an Oberlin Conservatory degree. Now, MissChelle Renée invites you into classically trained, soul-music brained experiences, merging the spiritual and natural. Her solo career has had a strong start; debuting at World Café Live, in Philadelphia, and progressing on to perform as a featured artist on signature stages around the DMV like Busboys & Poets, Smith Public Trust & Velvet Lounge. She was also a premier guest on renowned TV/Radio Talk Show "Spotlight Over The City." After successful release of her debut single "CROWNS," and EP, “MastHERpiece,“ she continues to drop new music and visuals for her brand. You can enjoy her newest singles "Richest Jewel" “Down” and “Cycles” on all streaming platforms. Her love of performing arts & aesthetics also intertwine when curating events and producing creative content for media and arts organizations.
